Chibiusa's on her way home from school

This was taken during Riverside Lunar Festival 2013 (Jan. 26, 2013) in Riverside, CA. It was my first time attending a Lunar Festival and I had a blast. It was just what I needed from my post-convention blues.

As soon as I arrived I was able to do a photoshoot with the amazing Kris Zoleta! He was the one who organized and MC'd all of the cosplay events during the festival. I cannot thank him enough for sneaking away from his duties to do a shoot with me. So, thank you again Kris!

You've probably seen my Luna P in detail already -- but she was part of the NegaMoon then (in my Wicked Lady photoshoot)! She's good again ;D. [please ignore the chip on her antennae, she needs a new paint job >;/.]

I absolutely adore this shot because you can see the detail of everything :3. I spent the night before working on minimizing fly aways and braiding the tails. I think I really really love how the braiding turning out (one big braid with microbraids braided in). I know that Chibiusa's hair isn't braided in the anime or manga, but I've had my wig for about two years and since I made it I've been trying to think of ways to baby it, and I think the braid will be the best way to avoid additional tangles and hours of brushing >_<.
